Powerful and compact for the most demanding applications

The Xi10 – Xi20 battery counterbalance forklift trucks define a new performance level in the 1 to 2 tonne payload range and have been shown to be the most powerful forklift trucks in their class. The innovative drive technology ensures consistently high performance even for demanding applications and enables above-average lifting and lowering speeds. This makes the Xi10 – Xi20 the ideal solution for intensive operations with frequent lifting and lowering. The compact chassis with swivel steering axle (three-wheeled version) guarantees maximum maneuverability even in the tightest of spaces. The permanently integrated Li-ION battery and the absence of a battery tray give the driver significantly more legroom. This also made it possible to increase the size of the entry step and place it lower, which offers additional comfort and greater safety when getting in and out of the truck. The three-wheeled version of the Xi10 – Xi20 offers six variants with different chassis sizes and battery capacities, as well as a wide range of equipment options. This allows the user to find the ideal, most economical configuration for each task. Maximum performance, efficient energy consumption and a wide range of versions make the Xi10 – Xi20 a cost-effective investment.

Optional Equipment

The comfort cabin protects the driver when working outdoors and provides outstanding all-round visibility of the load and the working environment thanks to its armored glass roof and large-scale glass doors.

The powerful air-conditioning system* with integrated heating and pollen filter guarantees a comfortable working environment in the cab all year round, while also preventing windows from fogging up.

A large selection of seats ensures additional comfort and active protection against postural injuries with functions like air suspension, lumbar support, seat heating, and seat ventilation.

On the display, this optional function shows the driver the current load weight.

In addition to truck information, the 7-inch screen can also for example show such things as the Linde Safety Pilot display, or images from the mast or reversing cameras. The screen layout and displays can be individually customized.

The innovative control concept Linde Steer Control from Linde Material Handling replaces the traditional steering wheel with a mini steering wheel or joystick, increasing the truck’s ergonomics, precision and safety.

Tipping accidents with the counterbalance forklift trucks can be largely avoided by using the Linde Safety Pilot .

The Linde Speed Assist driver assistance system automatically adjusts the truck’s top speed to the environment and the driving situation.

The Linde Reverse Assist Radar recognizes objects when reversing, warns the driver of collisions, and brakes the truck in an emergency until it comes to a standstill.

The fleet management system from Linde is used to manage the truck fleet. From maintenance scheduling to documentation of the maintenance and repair history through to access control.

Safety

With the Xi10 – Xi20, design features such as the low center of gravity and the overhead tilt cylinders ensure maximum stability, even with large lifting heights. The slimline design of the mast profiles, the narrow A-pillar, and the lowered front plate ensure optimum visibility of the load, the travel route, and the surrounding area. In addition, the protective roof construction with its narrow cross struts or the optional armored glass roof ensure a clear overhead view during storage and retrieval operations. Electronic belt buckle monitoring and the automatic parking brake enhance driver safety. The Xi10 – Xi20 are equipped with a range of assistance systems as standard: Linde Curve Assist automatically adjusts the speed around bends for added safety. Depending on the load weight and lifting height, Linde Load Assist, which also comes as standard, limits the mast inclination and lifting movement to reduce the risk of tipping accidents. Optional assistance systems such as Linde Speed Assist (speed adjustment in halls), Linde Safety Pilot (load monitoring) and Linde Safety Guard (warning zones) offer further protection. Safe reversing is also possible with the Linde Reverse Assist Radar and the Linde Reverse Assist Camera.

Service

The Xi10 – Xi20 are developed according to the design-to-service principle to minimize downtime and service costs. The basis for this is the robust and low-wear design of all components. The encapsulated electric motors are dustproof and waterproof. Other functional parts such as the tilt cylinders or the decoupling elements on the mast are also maintenance-free. An overall inspection is only due after 1,000 operating hours, and the hydraulic oil and filter change only after 6,000 hours (about three years). All relevant parts are easily accessible allowing for straightforward maintenance. The design, based on assemblies, also reduces the time needed for repairs. Optimized service processes based on wireless data transmission and analysis enable remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

Ergonomics

With the Xi10 – Xi20, the mast and axles are decoupled from the chassis by elastomer ring bearings. This improves shock absorption and protects the driver from harmful human vibrations when driving over bumps. The tried-and-tested operating concept consisting of dual-pedal control and Linde Load Control allows for intuitive control of the forklift truck. The automotive design of the driver’s cab includes a full-graphic 3.5-inch display and user-friendly controls. A large selection of comfort seats with different backrests, upholstery and suspension types provides a relaxed sitting position and allows for concentrated work. Thanks to the integrated Li-ION battery, there is no need for a battery tray, which provides greater headroom and significantly more legroom compared to its competitors. The entry point has also been enlarged and lowered. In forklift trucks with a full cabin, the optional, fully integrated and high-performance heating and air conditioning system ensures optimum temperatures. In addition, the Xi10 – Xi20 can be equipped with the optional innovative Linde Steer Control operating system, where the traditional steering wheel is replaced by a joystick or a mini-wheel in the armrest.

The Xi10 – Xi20 set new performance standards in their payload class. Thanks to the interplay of 90-volt technology, sophisticated synchronous reluctance motors and efficient heat management, full performance is always available even under extreme conditions in multi-shift operation. With lifting speeds up to 20 percent above the industry average, the Xi10 – Xi20 provide for maximum productivity. Designed as a three-wheeled version, the forklift trucks offer maximum maneuverability in the tightest of spaces. With a top speed of up to 20 km/h, they are ideal for fast transport journeys and enable high handling capacities. The robust design also allows for occasional outdoor use. Thanks to the state-of-the-art system architecture, the forklift trucks can be integrated into digital processes and maintained remotely to maximize availability. An optional on-board charger allows for fast intermediate charging, irrespective of location.
