Agile and customizable for maximum handling performance

The electric counterbalance forklift trucks E14 – E20 combine compact design and high maneuverability with top speeds of up to 20 km/h. This helps them deliver maximum handling performance, especially in tight spaces. The three-wheeled version with swivel steering axle and compact chassis ensures maximum maneuverability in indoor applications. The three-wheeled forklift truck is available in seven variants with different battery capacities and chassis sizes. This gives users the perfect forklift truck for every application scenario. The forklift trucks also offer a high level of flexibility in terms of energy supply: Linde offers a choice of lead-acid and Li-ION batteries as well as fuel cell systems. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, fleet operators can continue to use existing batteries or switch between lead-acid and Li-ION batteries without having to convert. All this makes the E14 – E20 the most versatile and economical forklift truck for indoor use in its payload class.

Optional Equipment

The powerful air-conditioning system* with integrated heating and pollen filter guarantees a comfortable working environment in the cab all year round, while also preventing windows from fogging up.

A large selection of seats ensures additional comfort and active protection against postural injuries with functions like air suspension, lumbar support, seat heating, and seat ventilation.

On the display, this optional function shows the driver the current load weight.

In addition to truck information, the 7-inch screen can also for example show such things as the Linde Safety Pilot display, or images from the mast or reversing cameras. The screen layout and displays can be individually customized.

The innovative control concept Linde Steer Control from Linde Material Handling replaces the traditional steering wheel with a mini steering wheel or joystick, increasing the truck’s ergonomics, precision and safety.

Tipping accidents with the counterbalance forklift trucks can be largely avoided by using the Linde Safety Pilot .

The Linde Speed Assist driver assistance system automatically adjusts the truck’s top speed to the environment and the driving situation.

The Linde Reverse Assist Radar recognizes objects when reversing, warns the driver of collisions, and brakes the truck in an emergency until it comes to a standstill.

Safety

The safety concept of the E14 – E20 reliably protects operators, loads, and the work area. The slimline design of the mast profiles, the narrow A-pillar, the spacious cab and the low front plate provide the driver with an optimal all-round view. The protective roof with narrow cross struts enables the driver to have excellent upward visibility when storing and retrieving at height. The low center of gravity of the forklift truck, the overhead tilt cylinders and the torsion-resistant mast construction ensure maximum tilt safety. Electronic seatbelt monitoring reminds the driver to fasten the seatbelt, and an automatic parking brake holds the forklift truck securely on slopes. Linde Curve Assist, fitted as standard, automatically adjusts the speed around bends for added safety. Depending on the load weight and lifting height, Linde Load Assist, which also comes as standard, limits the mast inclination and lifting movement, which reduces the risk of tipping accidents when working at height. Other assistance systems such as Linde Speed Assist, Linde Safety Pilot, Linde Safety Guard, Linde Reverse Assist Radar and Linde Reverse Assist Camera are available as options.

Ergonomics

The E14 – E20 offer an ergonomically optimized workplace that helps avoid fatigue and allows for concentrated work even during long shifts. The mast, drive, and steering axle are decoupled from the chassis via elastomer ring bearings to protect the driver from vibrations caused by the unevenness of the floor. This ensures smooth driving and reduces harmful human vibrations. At the same time, the tried-and-tested operating concept comprising dual-pedal control and Linde Load Control guarantees completely intuitive control of the forklift truck. The spacious driver’s cab has user-friendly controls and an easy-to-read 3.5-inch full graphic display. For optimal working temperatures, the forklift trucks are available with a closed, air-conditioned cab including heating. The large selection of comfort seats with different backrests, upholstery and suspension types provides a relaxed sitting position tailored to the operator. The optional Linde Steer Control operating system with mini-wheel or joystick instead of the steering wheel offers enhanced ergonomics. It reduces strain and facilitates precise maneuvering.

Handling

Thanks to the three-wheeled design, the E14 – E20 are characterized by exceptional maneuverability in the tightest of spaces. With speeds of up to 20 km/h, they are the first choice for fast transport journeys and achieve the maximum handling performance. The proven 48-volt technology with maintenance-free asynchronous motors delivers maximum performance in continuous use in multi-shift operation. The modular design means it can be flexibly equipped with different energy storage systems – from lead-acid to lithium-ion to fuel cells. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, existing batteries can continue to be used without problem, or it is possible to switch between lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries without having to convert. Side access and the frame that opens downwards make it easier to change batteries in multi-shift operation. A built-in charger allows for fast charging if required, irrespective of location. Thanks to their connectivity, the forklift trucks can be seamlessly integrated into digital processes and maintained remotely.

Service

The robust construction of the E14 – E20 guarantees high availability and reduces service costs. Encapsulation of the drive axle, electric motors and inverters protects these components from dust and water and means they are completely maintenance-free. For fast and straightforward maintenance, service technicians have easy access to all the relevant components. In addition, the forklift truck has a hinged battery cover to simplify the daily inspection of the lead-acid battery. Wireless transmission of truck data optimizes the service processes and thus avoids unnecessary downtime. An overall inspection is only required after 1,000 operating hours. The hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil filter only needs to be changed after 6,000 hours (about three years).
