Linde T20AP – T25AP Pallet Trucks

The T20 – T25 AP/SP pallet trucks offer tailored ergonomic working conditions for the driver. Linde’s basic concept is flexible. In the AP model, the driver can move the standing platform up, and fold down the steering tiller. The platform truck changes into a full-service pedestrian model as needed. In contrast, the SP mode has a fixed standing platform.

Pedestrian and drive mode in one

The T20 – T25 AP flexible pallet trucks are optimized for efficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and train wagons. They are ideal for assembling and maneuvering cargo in receiving and dispatch halls as well as for occasional order picking. The operator can fold the stand-on platform up and the steering tiller down to transform the vehicle into a maneuverable pedestrian model. With the platform folded down, the T20 – T25 AP can also be used at any time for transport over short and medium distances. The stand-on platform is fully decoupled from the chassis to protect the operator from vibrations and shocks during travel. Depending on the model, the vehicles transport loads of between 2,000 and 2,500 kilograms.

Drive Wheel

The drive wheel is available in non-marking rubber or polyurethane. The material is quiet, very durable, and has good rolling properties. There are also wheels with a Wet-Grip surface.

Battery changing stands

The stands hold up to two batteries. A battery fits on the mobile changing stands.

Mounting systems

Terminals, clipboard, or an LED working lamp can be mounted on the cockpit.

Fork size

Linde offers various forks in different lengths and widths.

Cold store protection

Using this version, the user can operate the pallet truck at external temperatures down to -35 degrees Celsius.

Load backrest

The backrest stabilizes the load and prevents the pallets from sliding.

Load wheels

Single or tandem rollers made from polyurethane are available. The material is quiet, very durable, and has good rolling properties. It leaves no marks on light floors.

Increased performance

The maximum speed of both models has been increased to 12 kilometers per hour.

Access control

The access control in Linde’s connect: system informs fleet management who is sitting behind the wheel of which truck. The driver must identify themselves using a PIN or a RFID card before they can start the truck.

Safety

During longer transport journeys, fold-up side bars protect the driver from injury. The driver’s platform is designed so that the driver’s body is within the vehicle contours at all times. The T20 – T25 AP have three independent braking systems to ensure driver and load safety in any situation. If the driver releases the butterfly control (dead man´s switch), the truck stops automatically. The pallet trucks are also equipped with Linde Curve Assist, which reduces travel speed on curves. In order to warn the surrounding area of the approaching vehicle at an early stage, even in unclear situations, the T20 – T25 AP can be equipped with the optional Linde BlueSpot light warning system. The software-based speed management system connect:zi makes it possible to set up safety zones with automated speed adjustment.

Ergonomics

On the T20 – T25 AP, both the foldable driver platform and the tiller head are fully decoupled from the chassis to protect the driver from shocks and vibrations in any situation. To operate effortlessly in even the tightest spaces, the vehicles automatically and continuously adjust their speed and steering resistance to the steering angle. The standard power steering further facilitates maneuvering. The ergonomic tiller head accommodates all control functions and can be operated effortlessly even when wearing gloves. Accessory holders can be mounted on the vehicles to attach important work utensils such as scanners, clipboards or film rolls.

Handling

Thanks to their foldable operator platform, the T20 – T25 AP can be used both in drive mode and in pedestrian mode. With the platform folded in, they are very maneuverable and easy to maneuver even in tight spaces. In travel mode, they reach top speeds of 14 km/h (without load) and 11 km/h (with load). They also enable rapid acceleration and master gradients of up to 20 percent (without load). This is made possible by the powerful 3 kW three-phase motor in combination with an innovative castor system: The castors, which can be either mechanically sprung or hydraulic, adapt to the load, driving situation and speed, guaranteeing high stability and good traction even on difficult ground. On inclines, a start-up system ensures that the vehicles do not roll backwards. In addition to the classic lead-acid batteries, the T20 – T25 AP can be equipped with a new generation of Li-ION batteries.

Service

The maintenance-free three-phase motor of the T20 – T25 AP enables long service intervals and keeps maintenance costs low. The robust design with solid cladding parts and stable chassis makes the vehicles very durable and ensure high vehicle availability even in the toughest continuous operation. Developed according to the “design to service” principle, the T20 – T25 AP provide service technicians with fast access to all relevant components. The modern CAN bus architecture of the pallet trucks further facilitates the service process, as the technician can easily read out the vehicle data via a diagnostic connector. The electric-electronic architecture allows software updates and new functions to be remotely installed on the vehicle at any time when it is equipped with an optional data transmission unit.
