The T16, T18, and T20 pallet trucks have a particularly rugged construction. For example, tiller and motor cover are made of fiberglass-reinforced materials and can work reliably and continuous for a long time, maneuvering, order picking, and transporting. The low chassis provides more safety. It covers all of the wheels so the user’s feet do not come into contact with them. The tiller is mounted at a very low point on the truck. The operator is therefore at a safe distance from the pallet truck with the tiller folded down.

ROBUST SAFETY WHEN MANEUVERING AND TRANSPORTING

The T16, T18, and T20 pallet trucks have a particularly rugged construction. The effective electric braking system is also important for the safety of the T16, T18, and T20. The trucks accelerate quickly with the powerful three-phase motor and the booster effect provides even more output in difficult situations. Depending on the version, they boast a lifting capacity of 1,600 to 2,000 kilograms.

Acoustic signal

The optional buzzer sounds different from the standard horn and can be heard better in loud environments.

Suspension

The drive wheels have additional suspension to absorb impacts and bumps.

Integrated Charger

The integrated charger increases flexibility: The pallet truck can be charged nearly everywhere and at any time.

Load backrest

The backrest stabilizes the load and prevents the pallets from sliding.

Emergency stop button

If the operator hits the button, the truck stops immediately, protecting them and others from hazards or damage.

Vertical battery replacement

The battery can be easily and effortlessly removed from the side of the truck using rollers.

Access control

Access control of the connect: fleet management software from Linde informs the operator who is at the wheel of which truck. The driver must identify themselves using a PIN or a RFID card before they can start the truck.

Safety

The design of the pallet truck improves the safety of the operator and protects their feet, because the wheels are completely covered by the chassis. In addition, the low tiller mounting point guarantees that the operator is at a safe distance from the truck during motion.

SafetySpeed automatically adjusts the speed depending on the tiller position; the more vertical, the slower it goes. This means the truck cannot bump against the operator. If the operator moves the tiller to the top or bottom end position, effective electromagnetic brakes ensure it stops quickly. The same applies if the operator releases the drive switch. The design of the tiller handle protects the operator’s hands from impacts.

Ergonomics

All the control elements on the tiller can be easily accessed by the user with both hands. In addition, the tiller has a long lever, which makes it easier to control the truck in tight corners. The operator can keep packing paper, writing implements, and other work materials at hand in the deep storage compartments.

Handling

The powerful, digitally controlled three-phase motor ensures rapid acceleration. In addition, the technician can adjust the performance parameters of the truck for the special conditions of the site, thus increasing handling capacity.

Using the booster effect, the motor automatically increases torque and, as a result, performance. Difficult situations such as climbing gradients or driving over potholes are easy to master.

With the creep speed button, the truck can be maneuvered slowly even with the tiller in the vertical position. This makes many work processes easier if there is little space available. Large drive wheels absorb impacts and make the truck more stable on uneven surfaces.

Service

The three-phase technology of the motor requires no servicing and thus there are no service costs. The service technician can easily reach the components.

In addition, the truck has a CAN bus structure: The service technician gets a readout of the truck data using a laptop and can then perform a quick truck diagnosis. The tiller and motor cover are made of particularly tough, fiberglass-reinforced materials. This prevents damage and reduces service costs.
