Round Paper Roll Clamp Types

One-arm fixed clamp:

A fixed one arm clamp is also called a fixed short arm. This clamp has only 2 hydraulic cylinders in the long arm. Therefore, the long arm clamp can always move, the short arm clamp cannot move at all.

This is a suitable clamp for paper trading companies because there are only certain diameter sizes. Normally, the fixed one-arm clamp has a minimum opening of 400 mm to 550 mm and a maximum opening of 1300 mm to 1800 mm, but in the Vietnamese market, the most popular type is 1300 mm to 1600 mm.

Two-arm moving clamp

The two-arm movable clamp is also known as the positioned short arm (short arm used for shaping). This clamp has two hydraulic cylinders in the long arm and two hydraulic cylinders in the short arm, so many places also call it a 4-rod clamp. This type of clamp is widely used in packaging companies. After the long arm clamps the paper roll, the clamp must rotate at a 45-degree angle so that the hydraulic oil can pass through the short arm because the clamp uses a travel valve. With the characteristic of the short arm being movable, the clamp can clamp 2 paper rolls of different diameters at the same time, provided that the clamping jaws are separate clamping jaws.
